The Karma Revero aimed to revolutionize the luxury electric vehicle market when it was debuted in 2016, promising a compelling fusion of premium materials, world-class performance, and extended-range efficiency. It did not disappoint. The Karma Revero boasts elite performance specs, including the capacity to generate 403 horsepower, 981 lb-ft of torque, and go from 0-60 MPH in just 5.4 seconds. Fueled in part by a 21-kWh battery pack and a 200-watt solar panel roof, the Karma Revero can go 50 miles on electricity alone and up to 300 miles total. The Karma Revero GT is the next evolution in the Karma lineup of luxury hybrid plug-in performance cars, and – as one would expect – offers several improvements on its predecessor. By swapping out the original four-cylinder turbocharged GM engine for the BMW TwinPower Turbo, Karma was able to boost its horsepower to 536 and drop its 0-60 time down to 4.5 seconds. Paired with a 28-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, Karma Revero GT also features greater efficiency, with an all-electric range of 80 miles and a combined range of 360 miles.
